MISSOULA, Mont. - August 4, 2022 - (Newswire.com)
The Cerulean Project kicked off its call for entries for its annual mental health awareness initiative that raises money supporting the Trevor Project.Â
The Cerulean Project is a 3-month-long initiative focusing on mental health awareness among the scale modeling community. Now in its third year, The Cerulean Project invites individuals globally to participate in the event. All individuals must enter online at theceruleanproject.com.Â
"The 3rd annual Cerulean Project presents an opportunity for model builders worldwide to learn about mental health," said Devin Harris, founder of The Cerulean Project. "The immense pressure we are all under in today's world, whether from stress about climate change, racism, or LGBTQ+ rights, it's become increasingly important that we change the stigma around mental health."
According to Harris, the 3rd annual Cerulean Project is accepting participants in more categories this year, which include Mecha, Monster, and Motor.Â
To submit an original build created between 8/1 to 11/1, visit The Cerulean Project at theceruleanproject.com for information, guidelines, and more.
About The Cerulean Project:Â
The Cerulean Project is about giving back, building a strong community, raising awareness around mental health, and providing resources to help those in need. This group art exhibition is open to model builders from around the world and showcases participants' art online and in a printed book (pre-registration for the book is limited to 100 participants). Our goal is two-part: to change the stigma around talking about mental health and to have an amazing art show celebrating artists from around the world.
